FREEZING FALLING (2010)

Archival pigment prints

A photographic series exploring the impact of a partner's terminal diagnosis. My husband was peaceful and equanimous facing his predicted immanent death, having lived a full and satisfying life in right relation.  His acceptance was extremely difficult for me and compounded the fierceness of my own resistance to his dying.  I wanted him to fight for life with all that he had.
